Human Growth Hormone
Also known as: Somatropin, HGH, Somatotropin, 191aa
The bioidentical 191 amino acid human growth hormone.
Overview
Human Growth Hormone is the identical 191 amino acid protein produced by the pituitary gland. Recombinant technology allows production of bioidentical HGH for therapeutic use.
Mechanism of Action
Binds GH receptors throughout the body, stimulating IGF-1 production in liver and local tissues. Effects include protein synthesis, lipolysis, cartilage growth, and metabolic regulation.
Pharmacokinetics
Half-life 2-3 hours after SC injection. Peak levels at 2-6 hours. IGF-1 elevation lasts 20+ hours.
Dosing Protocols
Note: These are research protocols from literature. This is not medical advice.
Deficiency
