GHRP-2
Also known as: Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide-2, Pralmorelin
A potent growth hormone secretagogue with strong GH-releasing effects.
Overview
GHRP-2 is one of the most potent synthetic GH secretagogues. It stimulates robust GH release through ghrelin receptor activation and is used diagnostically to assess GH reserve.
Mechanism of Action
Binds ghrelin receptors (GHS-R1a) on pituitary somatotrophs and hypothalamic neurons. Stimulates GH release and mildly increases cortisol and prolactin.
Pharmacokinetics
Rapid absorption with peak GH at 15-30 minutes. Effects last 2-3 hours. Half-life approximately 25-30 minutes.
Dosing Protocols
Note: These are research protocols from literature. This is not medical advice.
